    There’s nothing quite like freshly baked cookies, and home bakers, pastry chefs and anyone with a sweet tooth sure know it! But not all cookie recipes are created equal. Some have that extra sprinkle of magic that makes us all warm and fuzzy inside. Here we gathered chefs' and home bakers' favorite cookie recipes from various parts of the internet, so you can bake something really special this weekend.

    Many home bakers love this recipe, which was shared by an online forum user who experimented with hundreds of recipes to create the ultimate baked good; chocolate chip cookies that are soft, yet chewy. The secret to keeping them soft? Cornstarch and melted butter. But don’t just take our word for it, give them a try!

    Reese’s Peanut Butter Recipe

    Some great recipes are hiding in plain sight. Or as one home baker shares: “Mine is on the back of Reese's Peanut Butter Chips bag. You can just Google the bag and see it on the back. Also, you can substitute any chips instead of peanut butter. My favorites are white chocolate, butterscotch, then peanut butter.” Turns out a great recipe has been right under our noses all along!     One home baker shared a salted brownie cookie recipe they swear by. They commented, “I made these last week and ate almost the entire batch when I had meant to put them in the cookie tins I made for my family.     If you’re ever bored of chocolate chip cookies, try Mini Madeleine cookies. Dominique Ansel, the pastry chef famous for inventing the cronut, shared his recipe for these sweet yet light cookies. He explained, “Just mildly sweet, moist, with a slightly crispy edge–it’s right in between a cookie and cake.” If Dominique Ansel says this is THE recipe, then count us in!
