This quick Apple Crisp is a all done in just 35 minutes and a perfect dessert for fall! Tart green apples are coated with cinnamon sugar and baked under a crispy crumbly topping with a hint of shredded coconut. Mmm yum!

APPLE FILLING 2 tsp ground cinnamon 4 Tbsp sugar ½ tsp ground nutmeg 5 green apples  CRISP 1¼ cup flour 3 Tbsp sugar ⅛ tsp salt ½ cup butter + extra ½ cup shredded coconut


Peel & core apples and slice them thin. Mix with cinnamon, sugar & nutmeg. Set aside for now!

In another bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt.

Add room temperature butter, cut in pieces.

Mix well and create like a crumbly dough.

Grease a pie dish with butter.

Spread the apples out in a thick layer in the bottom of the greased pie dish.

Top the apples with the crumble topping and spread it out evenly.

Sprinkle with shredded coconut.

Bake at 440°F (225°C) for 20-25 minutes, until it's golden brown and smells amazing!

All done! Serve on its own, with vanilla ice cream or with vanilla sauce.
