Ingredient notes & substitutions
Almost any type of dumpling - like potstickers - can be cooked in this way. Some good brands to use are Ling Ling, Pagoda, Bibigo, Whole Foods, Costco and Trader Joe's.
The air fryer* works best for dumplings that are supposed to be crispy (ie: pot stickers!), as the air fryer* will crisp them up
Use frozen potstickers or dumplings - do not thaw in advance
Vegetable oil: I recommend a neutral type of oil but olive oil works as well. You can also use cooking spray.
Tips & tricks
Preheat the air fryer*to shorten cook time - if not preheating you might need more than 6-8 minutes
Don't defrost the dumplings - cook them straight from frozen
