Notes
Ingredient notes & substitutions
Champagne can be swapped for another type of sparkling wine, like a cava, prosecco or crémant
Cranberry juice - I prefer one with no or just a little added sugar, for a drier cocktail. Choose a sweeter cranberry juice for a sweeter cocktail.
Frozen cranberries are both decorative and chilling. They can be swapped for frozen lingonberries, or just use well chilled ingredients instead.
Make it non-alcoholic by using non-alcoholic sparkling wine and infusing with juniper berries
Tips & tricks
Chill your drink with frozen cranberries - this way it's not watered like it would be if you added ice
Prep ahead by mixing gin & cranberry juice in a pitcher or straight in the glasses, and then add frozen cranberries & champagne just before serving
Make it lower inalcohol by using a non-alcoholic sparkling wine
Make it non-alcoholic with a non-alcoholic sparkling wine and no gin - add a few whole juniper berries to still get a bit of the foresty gin taste
Find your favorite version - do you like it best with the sweeter prosecco, or do you prefer a drier champagne or cava? Do you want more or less gin? A sweeter or drier cranberry juice?
Garnish with a sprig of rosemary for the cutest drink
