Make this strawberry mango smoothie in under 5 minutes using fresh & frozen fruit and natural yogurt. Super creamy and loaded with flavor, this healthy smoothie is naturally sweetened by fruit but don't worry - it's definitely sweet enough!
Place the banana with the strawberry and mango pieces in a high powered blender. Mix for 2 minutes, until no solid pieces remain.
Add the yogurt and mix for 30 seconds, until well combined.
Pour in a tall glass and decorate with a few pieces of strawberries and a paper straw. Serve immediately!
1 serving of this recipe makes one large smoothie. Serve in one large glass or in two smaller glasses.
Ingredient notes & substitutions
Greek yogurt - I use plain, natural, unsweetened, Greek yogurt but you can use other types as well. Either another type of plain and unsweetened yogurt, a plain sweetened yogurt - or even one with strawberry or mango flavor.
Banana can be fresh or frozen, but should be ripe for maximum sweetness
Frozen strawberries & mango can be switched for fresh versions. If none of the ingredients are frozen you might want to add an ice cube while mixing to keep the smoothie really cold.
Tips & tricks
Use a really ripe banana to get a lot of sweetness
Make sure the fruits are well mixed before adding yogurt - this is the secret to a seriously creamy and clump-free smoothie
Make it vegan by swapping Greek yogurt for water. Start with half a cup and add more as needed to get your desired consistency.
Prep ahead with freezer packs - place all ingredients for one smoothie in a plastic bag and freeze. Then when you want to make a smoothie - just take out a bag, let it thaw slightly, and pour all the ingredients in the mixer. Add a splash of milk. water or yogurt to help it blend. These freezer packs are good for up to 3 months.
