You just need 1 minute to make this sparkling Cranberry Ginger Ale punch! It's the perfect punch for all your holiday gatherings and easy to prep ahead. Just as delicious non alcoholic as it is spiked with some gin.
Place frozen cranberries or lingonberries in a champagne flute. Pour over ginger shot, cranberry juice and ginger ale. Serve immediately!
Ingredient notes & substitutions
Cranberry juice - use a version without too much added sugar
Ginger ale can be swapped for ginger beer, for less sweetness
Ginger shot - use a pure kind with just ginger for a very spicy kick or one with some apple juice or other mixed in (most stor-bought kinds have this)
Frozen cranberries can be swapped for frozen lingonberries or skipped
Tips & tricks
Use frozen berries instead of ice to chill your drink without watering it down
Make ahead for a party by mixing ginger shot and cranberry juice - in a punch bowl, large pitcher or straight in the champagne flutes - and then topping with ginger ale just before serving
Make your own ginger shot for an extra delicious mocktail
Mix it up using different ginger ales or switching it for ginger beer. I used the classic Schweppes Ginger Ale* for this recipe - which is a pretty sweet one, so you can easily make it less sweet by switching out the brand.
Booze optional - add a dash of gin, bourbon, vodka or rum. Or whatever else you feel like. Or serve it non-alcoholic with an optional shot on the side to pour in for those guests who prefer it that way.
