chicken breasts
or thin-sliced chicken breasts

olive oil
or neutral cooking oil

dried basil

garlic powder

Instructions
Preheat air fryer by running it for 5 minutes at 390℉ (200℃).
If you have whole chicken breasts, slice them in half lengthwise.
1 lb chicken breasts
Brush chicken with olive oil on all sides, then season with basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
1 tablespoon dried basil,
½ tablespoon garlic powder,
½ teaspoon salt,
2 tablespoon olive oil,
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Air fry 3 minutes per side at 390℉ (200℃), until cooked through, or almost cooked through.
Wrap in aluminium foil and rest 5 minutes, then serve.

Cook time can vary with your air fryer model.
Cook in a single layer
and don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
Don't overcook the chicken
- air fry until done, or almost done (it will continue cooking while wrapped in foil)
Use a meat thermometer
to know when the chicken is done
Cook chicken to an internal temperature
of 165℉ (74℃).
Don't skip the resting
- this is the secret to the juiciest chicken
