Preheat the oven to 350℉ (175℃). Bring out a pie dish - either a non stick one, or grease a regular one with a little bit of butter.
Place Oreo cookies in a food processor, cover it, and run the food processor until the cookies are crushed into very small pieces.
28 Oreo cookies
Pour in melted butter and run the food processor again, until all is well combined. You might need to use a spoon to scrape the sides.
⅓ cup salted butter
Spread out the cookies mixed with butter evenly in the pie dish, then bake 10 minutes in the middle of the oven at 350℉ (175℃). When done, allow to cool down completely.
Oreo Pie Filling
Make the pudding according to the package instructions - usually you just need to mix the pudding powder with the milk. Cover and place in the fridge until it starts to set.
When the pudding has started to set, bring it back out. In another bowl, whip the cream cheese, then fold it in with the pudding.
8 ounces cream cheese
Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks, then mix this in with the pudding as well.
¾ cups heavy cream
Crush the Oreos for the filling (these can be more coarse) and mix in with the pudding.

When the pie crust has cooled down completely, pour in the filling. Place covered in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, until completely set, then decorate as desired - either with whole mini Oreos, more crushed up Oreos, or something else.
mini Oreos, crushed Oreos
Notes
Allow the chocolate pudding to start to set before mixing in the cream cheese and whipped cream
No food processor? Place the Oreos in a plastic bag, seal it, and use a rolling pin to crush them.
Crush the Oreos for the pie crust really well, this will help the crust stick together
Switch up the flavor by using a different type of pudding like butterscotch or vanilla pudding, this gives the dirt pie a whole new taste
Decorateas desired - fancier for grown-ups, sillier for kids. Or maybe the other way around?!
Allow the crust to cool before you add the filling
Let the Oreo dirt cake set for at least 30 minutes before serving
