Preheat the air fryer by running it at 390°F (200°C) (thin sausages) or 360°F (180°C) (thick sausages) for 5 minutes. Then add water to the bottom of the air fryer basket to avoid excessive smoking.
Place the sausages in the air fryer basket and air fry at 390°F (200°C) (thin sausages) for 4-6 minutes or 360°F (180°C) (thick sausages) for 6-8 minutes, turning them once halfway.

Check to make sure they are cooked through - they should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) - and serve!
Notes
This recipe was tested in a Philips HD9252/90 Air Fryer* and a Ninja DZ401 DualZone XL Air Fryer*. Cook time can vary with your air fryer model, and the size of the chicken pieces.
Frozen sausages? Don't defrost them, just add a few minutes to the cook time.
Don't overcrowd your air fryer basket - make sure you have some air left between the sausages
Use a meat thermometer to make sure they are done. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
Storing: Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Reheating: Air fry 2 minutes until heated through.
