With minimal prep & 12 minutes of cooking you can cook the best frozen pork chops in your air fryer. Perfectly cooked pork chops, juicy and tender - and all ready to serve with your favorite sides for a quick and easy dinner.
Place the frozen pork chop in the air fryer basket and air fry for 4 minutes.
1 frozen bone-in pork chop
After air frying for 4 minutes, bring out the air fryer basket and brush the top of the pork chop with half of the olive oil and sprinkle with half of the salt and pepper. Repeat on the other side, then air fry for 4 more minutes.
½ teaspoon olive oil, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Flip an air fry 4 minutes.
Without a meat thermometer
Flip again, then air fry 4 more minutes - flipping the pork chop once halfway.
Place the pork chop on a piece of aluminium foil. Wrap it up and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes.
With a meat thermometer
Check the internal temperature. Your goal is to reach 145°F (63°C) before resting. If the temperature is below 130°F (55°C), flip and add 2 minutes. If the temperature is higher, flip and add 1 minute. Repeat until you are at the goal temperature.
Place the pork chop on a piece of aluminium foil. Wrap it up and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes.
Seasonings can be adjusted to suit your taste - plain salt & pepper is nice, but you can mix it up with all kinds of different spices
A delicious seasoning option is to make a dry rub from paprika powder, onion powder, garlic powder and a touch of cayenne. Optional to also add a bit of brown sugar for nice caramellization!
Bone-in or boneless pork chops are both fine - boneless will cook a bit quicker
Thicker or thinner pork chops can also be used - thicker will take longer to cook
