Notes
This recipe has been tested in the following air fryer models (affiliate links): Philips HD9252/90 Air Fryer, Ninja DZ401 DualZone XL Air Fryer and Cosori Pro II. . Cooking time can vary with your specific model.Bring to room temperaturebefore reheating. I recommend you bring it out from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking, if you can. This will help it cook quicker, with less risk of it drying out.Slice it first. As mentioned above, this will give you the juiciest steak, as it will cook more evenly. You can reheat it whole as well, but it will be trickier to get it heated through without overcooking.Use a meat thermometer. This helps ensure you don't reheat it to too high a temperature, which will dry it out.Keeping it rare? Know the risks. If you want to keep your steak below well done be aware that consuming leftovers that haven't been sufficiently heated does come with a risk. The USDA recommends that leftovers always be reheated to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).Allow the steak to rest. Just as when cooking the steak the first time, heat it to just below your target point, then wrap the steak in aluminum foil and let it rest for 5 minutes.Do not reheat it again. Just reheat as much as you will finish, it won't be good if you reheat it several times.
Nutritional information is an estimate and will vary with the size of your steak.
