Ingredients

handfuls
frozen french fries
thin, thick, or other cuts of fries
1
teaspoon
olive oil
optional, or other cooking oil
¼
teaspoon
fine table salt
skip if using already seasoned fries
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer by running it at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Place frozen fries in a bowl and season with olive oil and salt. Mix well to coat the fries as evenly as possible with the oil and salt .
2 handfuls frozen french fries,
1 teaspoon olive oil,
¼ teaspoon fine table salt
Place fries in air fryer basket and air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12-14 minutes, shaking once halfway.
Serve immediately, with your favorite dipping sauces!

Don't defrost the fries
- cook them straight from frozen
Salt the fries before cooking
as the oil will help the salt stick
For the crispiest fries,
cook them in a single layer - if needed, cook them in batches
You can layer the fries if needed
, but they won't come out as crispy and will need a bit more time to cook. Never fill the basket more than halfway!
Store leftovers in the fridge
in an airtight container for up to 4 days - but remember that they are at their best just after frying
