Ingredient notes & substitutions
- Ground chicken can be swapped for another type of ground meat: ground turkey, lamb, pork or beef
- Bread crumbs: I use regular, not Panko, here, as they are smaller and easier to integrate into the ground chicken. Choose gluten free breadcrumbs to make it gluten free.
- Lemon juice is best fresh, but you can use the bottled kind if that's what you have
- Worcestershire sauce can be skipped, but adds a nice pop of flavor
- Olive oil can be swapped for another cooking oil or cooking spray

I came back here just to say that these are SO GOOD. I made a double batch to last for lunches through the week and it was so worth it. I was worried they would be dry when reheated but nope, they were perfect. I am going to make them again this week!
