There are some foods that are just so good, or special, that everyone should try them - at least once. Sure, maybe it won't be your cup of tea - but at least you'll know what everyone is talking about! Recently, we found a thread on an online forum where users shared what foods they think everyone should try - at least once in their life. Most of these sound amazing to me, and I have tried a lot of them. But there are also a few that I probably wouldn't try unless someone paid me... really well!
Chicken Tikka Masala

Chicken Tikka Masala, with its creamy tomato-based sauce and tender chunks of chicken, is a beloved dish that has won the hearts of people worldwide. It's become a staple in Western Indian cuisine - and did you know, it was actually created in England?!
Sushi

Sushi is an art form on a plate, and learning to create authentic sushi takes many years. And I'm not talking about the gas station variety here; everyone should try real, authentic sushi at some point - either at an upscale sushi bar in the US or in Japan. Trust me, it's a game-changer!
Bone Marrow

For those looking for the most intense umami experience, beef bone marrow is the way to go. It's a delicacy that's super rich with deep layers of flavor, and delicious on top of roasted bread. As one foodie rightfully puts it, "The savory umami flavor is over the top."
Cheese & Potato Pierogies

Pierogies are beloved in Polish cuisine, and cheese and potato pierogies hold a special place in the hearts of comfort food enthusiasts. As one foodie says, they are simply "the best Polish food ever."
"Real" Tacos

There's something truly magical about enjoying tacos from a roadside stand in Mexico. As one foodie aptly responds to the suggestion of this as a bucket list food, "This man speaks the truth, since I moved away from Mexico, the one thing I miss the most is going out to my favorite taco stand and having lunch/dinner/breakfast, whatever time it was. I haven't found anything remotely close in the states." [sic]
The authenticity and flavor of Mexican street tacos is unparalleled, and you'll just have to travel to Mexico to try it for yourself, at least once!
Wagyu Steak

Wagyu steak is a delicious experience for steak enthusiasts. As one Texan foodie exclaimed, "I have NEVER been so sad that a meal had ended. As a Texan, all I know is steak, and that was on another level." The marbling and tenderness of Wagyu beef creates a steak like no other, and if you enjoy a good steak, then this one is worth a splurge, at least once!
Grilled Sheep Testicles

Adventurous foodies know that trying everything can sometimes lead to delightful surprises. As one courageous eater experienced: "...grilled sheep testicle from a street vendor in Beijing might be the best dish I ever had." [sic] A great reminder that sometimes you should just avoid asking what it is until after you've tried it!
Bibimbap

Bibimbap is a Korean delight that combines colorful vegetables, rice, and a protein of some kind, all topped with a spicy gochujang sauce. The delicious blend of flavors and textures makes it a must-try for any foodie, whether in Korea or at a Korean joint at home.
Churros

Is there anything better for dessert, than churros? If you've never had them, they're crispy, fried dough sticks, often dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with a side of chocolate or caramel sauce. So, you know, basically what dreams are made of.
Bulgogi

Bulgogi, a Korean grilled marinated beef dish, offers a perfect fusion of sweet and savory flavors. It's a classic Korean barbecue dish and foodies love it for both the flavor and texture of the meat.
Ramen

Authentic Japanese ramen is a world away from instant noodles. As one foodie emphasizes, "I'm not talking about the American word for '2-minute noodles.' I'm talking authentic Japanese made-from-scratch ramen, with broth that took all day to make, boiled egg, perfectly cooked chashu pork, and fresh egg noodles. It's incredible."
Incredible, yes, and a must-try for any foodie worth their name!
Crawfish

Whether you have them Southern-style in a crawfish boil, or Scandinavian-style boiled with salt and dill, everyone should absolutely try them at least once in their lifetime. I love the Scandinavian version, but the Southern one is next up on my foodie bucket list!
