2 minutes and 4 types of juice is all you need to make this Sex on the Beach Mocktail. It tastes like the original just without the alcohol & a touch less sweet - and is made from ingredients you will find at any supermarket.

Why you will love this recipe

    • It's quick and done in just 2 minutes
    • It's easy to make - just add your ingredients and ice, shake, and pour. You can even skip the shaking part completely.
    • It has simple ingredients - just common fruit juices
    • It tastes like the original - sweet and juicy, but just a touch drier since we like our mocktails grown-up here
    • Both kids and adults will love it
    • No bar equipment needed - a shaker and a measuring glass always helps, but it's really not necessary
    • It's easy to make for a crowd and is perfect to serve in a pitcher or punch bowl

What you need to make it

ingredients needed to make sex on the beach mocktail
    • Passion fruit juice - The original Sex on The Beach recipe calls for peach nectar or peach juice. However, it can be hard to find so I usually make it with passion fruit juice instead. But, you can definitely use peach nectar or peach juice instead if you find it!
    • Orange juice and pineapple juice - I like to add both, but you can also add just one of them depending on what you like.

    How to make it

Like the cocktail version, this might just be one of the simplest drinks to make.

    2. Add 1-2 ice cubes
    3. Close the lid tightly and shake for 15 seconds
    4. Add ice cubes to a highball glass
    5. Fill up with your Sex on the Beach Mocktail and decorate with an orange slice and a straw. Serve & enjoy!

    Tips & tricks

    • Use a shaker to get that really chilled mocktail experience
    • Add more cranberry juice to make it more dry and less sweet...
    • ...or add less cranberry juice to make it sweeter
    • Add a shot of vodka if you're looking for a buzz

    Recipe FAQ

What can I use instead of passion fruit juice?

The original Sex on the Beach recipe actually doesn't have passion fruit juice, but is made with peach nectar or peach juice. So either of these is a great option.

    Can I add alcohol?

Yes - it's delicious with a shot of vodka, and then becomes a delicious twist on the original.

I love mocktails when we're trying to a "dry month." This is an amazing option that really does taste like the original. I do like it on the dry side (with the cranberry juice). I can't wait for my "dry spell" to be over so I can try this with a shot of vodka!
