Recipe FAQ
For this recipe you can substitute sour cream with a plain Greek yogurt, or crème fraîche. They are both acidic, creamy, additions that will achieve just about the same effect as sour cream.
These substitutions might not work for all recipes using sour cream.
Greek yogurt and sour cream have a similar taste, but they are not an exact match. When substituted for each other in cooking or baking, however, they will give about the same taste.
