Expert Tips
- Preheat the air fryer for best results
- If you have frozen sausages, you can cook them straight from frozen - no need to defrost. Just add a few minutes of cook time.
- Add some water to the bottom of the air fryer basket if your air fryer is prone to producing a lot of smoke, or if you start to see a lot of smoke coming out
- Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket - don't cook in layers and ensure there's some air left between the sausages
- Use a meat thermometer to make sure they are done. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Adjust temperature depending on the thickness of the sausages to make sure they are cooked through but not burnt. See recipe card below for suggestions.
- Adjust cook time depending on the size of the sausages as sausages come in all sizes. See recipe card below for suggestions.
- Cook time can vary with different air fryers

Storing, Freezing & Reheating
I recommend only air frying as many sausages as you will finish, but if you do end up with leftovers it is possible to store them and eat them later.
Storing leftovers: Store leftovers in the fridge in an air tight container for up to 4 days.
Freezing leftovers: Freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
Reheating leftovers: I recommend cutting up leftover sausages and reheating the pieces in the air fryer at 360°F (180°C) or pan-searing until heated through.
