What you need to make it

Ingredients for making frozen fried chicken in air fryer.

    Ingredient notes

    • Frozen fried chicken - any type of chicken, just keep in mind cook time will vary with the size of the pieces
    • Olive oil can be skipped, but helps give a nice color. It can be swapped for another type of oil or cooking spray.

    How to make it

Collage showing how to make frozen fried chicken in air fryer.
    1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) and brush the basket with olive oil
    2. Place the frozen fried chicken in the basket, and brush with the reamining oil
    3. Air fry at 360°F (180°C), until cooked through, and turn them once about halfway. Cook time varies with the size of the pieces, check out the recipe card for details.

    • Use a meat thermometer to check when the chicken is cooked through - it should reach an internal temperature of at least 165°F (74°C)

    • Store any leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days
    • Reheat leftovers in air fryer for a few minutes at 360°F (180°C) or lower
