Perfectly Juicy Pork Chops - The Easy Way!
I love a good pork chop for dinner, and there are so many great ways to cook them. I love them cooked in red wine & mushrooms for a special treat - but for a quick weeknight dinner, the air fryer is my absolute favorite way to cook them.
They are all done in under 25 minutes, depending on how thick they are, and the result is so juicy and flavorful. It's quicker than other cooking methods and less messy - and the result will not disappoint.
There's no need to add any oil, unless you really want to. Just add a good seasoning rub - use my suggested spices, or your own favorite blend - for lots of incredible flavor.
Starting with frozen pork chops? I've got a solution for that as well!
Pork Chops & Seasonings Are All You Need

What Pork Chops to Use
I recommend bone-in pork chops as they tend to be more flavorful, and less likely to dry out. But you can also use boneless pork chops, or even frozen pork chops.
Keep in mind that boneless pork chops will cook faster, so reduce the cook time by about 25%.
How to Season
I love the mix of garlic and paprika powder for an easy, yet flavor packed, seasoning. You can use this, or any other seasoning of your choice.
1. Season
Pat the pork chop dry, then mix together the spices for the seasoning and season the pork chop on all sides.

2. Cook
Place in a preheated air fryer basket and air fry until almost cooked through. The exact time will depend on your air fyer and the size and thickness of your pork chop, usually 8-15 minutes in total. Start with 5 minutes, then flip and cook 5 minutes on the other side, and repeat as needed.

3. Rest
Wrap the pork chop in aluminum foil and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.

Top Tips for the Juiciest Chops
Bring the pork chops to room temperature before cooking. This will help them cook quicker and more evenly.
Use a meat thermometer. This is the best way to know when they are done, and to avoid over- or undercooking.
Know when they are done. Remove from the air fryer when the internal temperature is 145°F (63°C). The meat should be white or just slightly pink, and the juices run clear.
Don't overcook them. You want to air fry them until just before they are done, as they will keep cooking while resting.
Let them rest. The final resting is very important for the end result. It allows the internal temperature to rise slowly for the final part, which means less risk of overcooking. This way you get a super juicy pork chop that's cooked just right.
Suggested Cooking Times
Remember that cook time can vary a lot. Larger, thicker, pork chops will require more time - but different air fryers also run more or less hot. Keep an eye on them and make sure they are cooked through before serving.
Below are suggested starting points.
¾ inch thick: 7-8 minute cook + 5 minute rest
1 inch thick: 8-12 minute cook + 5 minute rest
1.5 inch thick: 12-15 minute cook + 5 minute rest
2 inches thick: 15-20 minute cook + 5 minute rest
