I love a good garlic sauce and while tzatsiki has been my go-to for years - this Garlic Dipping Sauce is so much easier to make, and even more delicious! Try it yourself, you won't regret it.

What you need to make it
Ingredient notes & substitutions
- Greek yogurt can be swapped for another neutral, unsweetened, yogurt, like Turkish yogurt, or sour cream
- Greek yogurt and mayonnaise can be swapped for just crème fraîche
How to make it
- Place minced or pressed garlic with the salt in a shallow bowl
- Use a fork to smash the garlic with the salt until well combined
- Add mayonnaise and yogurt
- Mix well, taste test, and season with ground black pepper
Tips & tricks
- Smash the garlic with the salt to help spread the flavors throughout the sauce
- Let it sit for at least 30 minutes before serving, for the flavors to deepen
- If you're making it in advance keep in mind that it will taste more and more of garlic the longer you let it sit
- Make ahead: you can make this sauce up to 48 hours in advance
- Store leftovers in the fridge in an air tight container for up to 4 days

Garlic Dipping Sauce

- 1 garlic clove pressed or minced
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
