A Garlic Dip to Rival Tzatsiki
I love a good garlic sauce and while tzatsiki has been my go-to for years - this one is so much easier to make, and even more delicious!
It takes less than 5 minutes to mix together, and then just needs to sit for a while for the flavors to deepen. It also keeps really well, so you can save the leftovers for another day.
Did I mention it goes great with everything, and has a perfectly balanced garlic flavor? You know, not TOO much - but definitely not too little.
Try it yourself, I'm sure you won't regret it!
5 Simple Ingredients
There Are Many Ways to Make It Creamy
Grek yogurt can be swapped for another neutral, unsweetened, yogurt, like Turkish yogurt or just "yogurt". Or use sour cream instead!
You can also use crème fraîche instead of both mayonnaise & yogurt.
Just Smash, Mix & Chill!
Smash together minced garlic & salt, then mix in the mayo & yogurt. Taste test and season with black pepper, then chill for a while to let the flavors deepen. Done!
What to Do with Leftovers
If you're making it in advance or storing leftovers, keep in mind that it will taste more and more of garlic the longer you let it sit.
Make ahead: You can make this sauce up to 48 hours in advance.
Storing: Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Freezing: I do not recommend freezing leftovers.
