Just Sweet Potatoes + Seasonings

Why Cinnamon Works So Well With Sweet Potatoes
A pinch of cinnamon isn't just for sweet recipes. When added to sweet potatoes it complements their natural sweetness, creating a snack that pairs beautifully with savory dips. It tastes indulgent, but it's really just sweet potato, salt, cinnamon, and a teaspoon of olive oil.
Just Cut, Season and Air Fry!
1. Cut & Season
Cut sweet potatoes into wedges of about equal size, then place in a bowl and season with salt, cinnamon and olive oil. Mix well to coat the wedges evenly.

2. Air Fry
Place in a preheated air fryer basket and air fry 15 minutes or until soft and tender. Shake them around about halfway to help them cook evenly.

Tips for the Best Baked Sweet Potato Wedges
Peel the sweet potatoes. The skin can be quite tough and not so nice to eat.
Make the wedges roughly the same size. This will help them cook evenly and in the same amount of time.
Want crispier sweet potatoes? Air fry in batches so you only have one layer at a time.
Want to use less oil? Mix the sweet potatoes with the spices only, and just brush the air fryer basket lightly with oil.
What to Do with Leftovers
Storing: Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Freezing: You can freeze leftovers, but the consistency will not be the same. If you do freeze them do so in an airtight container and they will be good for at least 3 months.
Reheating in the air fryer: Air fry 3-5 minutes at 360°F (180°C), until heated through.

My air fryer did not come with a manual! It was a Ninja airfryer oven.
Emmeline Kemperyd
Hi Jan! That's too bad it did not have a manual. Usually you can find one if you google, or at least videos or guides online teaching you how to use that specific model. If you let me know which model you have I will see what I can find! /Emmeline

I just made these and I like them. I may of cut them too small because 10 minutes was all it took to cook them plus I only used 1 sweet potatoe due to not knowing how these would come out. In small batches the first run was not good. That's how I realized I needed to adjust my cook time. The rest were perfect. I also took some Greek yogurt and added a splash of vanilla extract for a dipping sauce. Very good.

Hi Jessica! Thank you for commenting, you reminded me to add a note about cook time. You're right, if you cut them smaller they will be done quicker. I always take them out every 5 minutes and shake them so that way I also have a gauge of how done they are. I love dipping mine in Greek yogurt as well - so delicious! /Emmeline
