- Shrimp: These instructions were created for pre cooked jumbo shrimp, peeled or not, and it works with frozen, thawed and fresh shrimp. You can also use smaller shrimp, just start with a shorter cooking time. You can also make this with frozen raw shrimp, just add one minute more to the cook time.
- Olive oil can be swapped for another type of vegetable oil
- Seasoning can be adjusted as you like, but this version adds loads of delicious flavor
How to cook pre cooked shrimp in air fryer
- Mix seasonings in a small bowl
- Place shrimp, seasoning and olive oil in a freezer bag, tie a knot on it, and massage the shrimp to season. Optional to marinate 15-30 minutes.
- Place in air fryer basket and air fry 2-3 minutes at 400°F (200°C)
- Transfer to a bowl or plate and mix with parsley, then serve!
Tips & tricks
- If using frozen shrimp: air fry 1 minute to thaw before mixing with the seasoning and oil
- Marinate 15-30 minutes to maximize flavor
- If using a diffeerent size of shrimp adjust the cooking time accordingly
- Cook shrimp in a single layer for an even cook. If you want to cook more, cook in batches.
- Serve with a sauce or two - I recommend Garlic Dipping Sauce, Chipotle Ranch or Sour Cream Sauce with Avocado & Lime
- Shrimp are best eaten straight away - if reheating the texture will not be as good
- Store leftover shrimp in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days
- Do not freeze leftovers
- Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes

- 20 pre cooked jumbo shrimp or smaller shrimp, but adjust cook time accordingly
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt

- 1 tablespoon flat leaf parsley finely chopped
Instructions
- If using frozen shrimp, first air fry 1 minute at 400°F (200°C), until thawed, then drain any water from the bottom of the air fryer.20 pre cooked jumbo shrimp
- Mix together the spices and oil in a bowl or freezer bag.20 pre cooked jumbo shrimp, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon paprika powder, ¼ teaspoon salt, ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Mix the shrimp with the spices and oil.20 pre cooked jumbo shrimp
- Place the shrimp in the air fryer basket and air fry 2 minutes (3 minutes for raw shrimp) at 400°F (200°C) until heated / cooked through. If not done, repeat in 1 minute increments until done.
