I love it for reheating fries, steak, wings - and, of course, any type of chicken. Especially fried chicken, like chicken nuggets!

How Do You Reheat Chicken Nuggets So They Are Crispy?

The short answer is: use the air fryer. The ciruclating hot air helps crisp up the outside nicely, and the result is much better than if you microwave them.

It also helps to add a tiny bit of oil. Not too much, but just a little bit, to help the crisp.

Finally, don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. You want the hot air to be able to circulate, as this is what helps the outside crisp up nicely.

    Expert Tips

    • Add a little bit of oil for the best crisp
    • Reheat in a single layer and do not overcrowd your air fryer basket. You want that hot air to be able to circulate - this is what makes them crispy!
    • Only reheat as much as you will finish - you don't want to reheat the same food multiple times
    • Always reheat leftovers to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), so it's safe for consumption
    • Cook time will vary with your specific air fryer, and how big the pieces are. Start with 3 minutes, check if heated through, and add more time as needed.
    • Want to add seasoning? Do it after the oil and before air frying.
