What you need to make them

Ingredient notes
- Frozen curly fries: You can use any brand you like, two good options are Ore-Ida and Arby's
- Other types of frozen fries: You can also make frozen sweet potato fries, frozen French fries, frozen waffle fries and frozen crinkle fries
- Salt is optional - curly fries often come pre-seasoned, so depending on the seasoning you might not need extra salt, and if you do you can also add it after cooking
- Olive oil can be skipped, or swapped for a neutral cooking oil or a bit of cooking spray
- Seasoning: if your curly fries are not pre-seasoned you can add more seasoning yourself, like garlic powder, onion powder, paprika powder, cheese powder or Elote seasoning
How to cook them

- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and pour olive oil over the fries
- Season with salt, then mix to coat the fries evenly
- Spread out in air fryer basket
- Air fry for 12 minutes at 400°F (200°C), shaking them around a bit halfway. Serve with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce like BBQ Sauce, Blue Cheese Sauce or Chipotle Ranch!
Tips & tricks
- Preheat your air fryer for best results
- Don't defrost curly fries, cook them straight from frozen
- Don't overcrowd your air fryer basket - it's fine if the fries overlap a bit, but do not fill the basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
- For the crispiest fries, cook in a single layer
- Shake the fries around a bit halfway, for an even cook
- Cook time can vary with different air fryers and brands of curly fries
- Store any leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days - but I recommend not air frying more than you will finish
- Reheat leftovers by air frying for a few minutes at 350°F (180°C)
