With minimal prep & 12 minutes of cooking you can cook pork chops straight from frozen in your air fryer. Perfectly cooked, juicy and tender - and all ready to serve with your favorite sides for a quick and easy dinner that requires zero planning.
Quick, Easy Dinner With No Planning Needed!
Frozen pork chops are great to have in the freezer ready to go for a quick dinner. Your air fryer makes it easy to cook them perfectly, straight from frozen - they come out so good, this will become one of your new favorite ways to cook them.
Just Add a Little Bit of Oil, Salt and Pepper
Any Kind of Pork Chop Works
You can make this recipe with thick or thin, bone-in or boneless pork chops. I used bone-in pork chops that were about ¾ inches (2 cm) thick.
If you have thicker pork chops, they will take a bit longer to cook.
If you have boneless pork chops they will cook a bit quicker.
A meat thermometer makes it easy to cook the pork chops to just the right temperature, regardless of their size and bone-status.
And if steak is more your thing, you can cook this from frozen as well.
Season as You Like
I love my pork chops lightly seasoned with just salt and pepper. But you can use any pork chop seasoning you love!
One tasty option is to make a dry rub from paprika powder, onion powder, garlic powder and a touch of cayenne. Optional to also add a bit of brown sugar for a bit of caramelization!
Thaw, Season, Cook & Re
1. Thaw Slightly
Place a frozen pork chop (or several, if they fit) in your air fryer and air fry 4 minutes to thaw slightly. Make sure not to overcrowd your air fryer basket. If your pork chops are frozen together you can keep them like that for this step, and then separate them.
And don't add any seasonings yet!
2. Season
After thawing slightly, go ahead and season as you like. I start with a bit of olive oil followed by salt & pepper. Don't forget to season on both sides!
3. Air Fry Until (Almost) Done
Air fry 4 minutes, then flip, and keep air frying and flipping in shorter intervals until it is done - or almost done. You want it to be just slightly below your target temperature, as it will finish cooking while resting.
4. Wrap & Rest
Wrap it up in aluminum foil and let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing and serving. This allows it to gently reach your target temperature, for the juiciest result.
How to Know if Your Pork Chops Are Cooked All the Way Through
The best way to find out if your pork chops are cooked all the way through is to use a meat thermometer. This way you don't run the risk of over- or undercooking them, and you also don't need to cut into them.
Pork chops need to reach an internal temp of 149°F (65°C) to be safe to consume, but you should rest them from 145°F (63°C) to avoid over cooking.
If you don't have a meat thermometer you will instead need to cut into the pork chop to see if it is cooked through. It should be opaque and white or just slightly pink in the middle.
What to Do with Leftovers
Storing: Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Freezing: Freeze leftovers in plastic bags or other airtight containers for up to 3 months.
Reheating: Reheat whole pork chops in the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at 350°F (175°C). You can also slice and reheat, which will be faster.

Notes
- Seasonings can be adjusted to suit your taste - plain salt & pepper is nice, but you can mix it up with all kinds of different spices
- A delicious seasoning option is to make a dry rub from paprika powder, onion powder, garlic powder and a touch of cayenne. Optional to also add a bit of brown sugar for nice caramellization!
- Bone-in or boneless pork chops are both fine - boneless will cook a bit quicker
- Thicker or thinner pork chops can also be used - thicker will take longer to cook
- Store any leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days
